Yoda - ICP's Favorite Special Patient

YODA, The French Bulldog, made his way into the world on January 15, 2007. He is just adorable, but he isn't perfect. He was born with not one, but two heart defects, a Mitral Valve Prolapse, and a hole in his heart, known as Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). His Veterinarian sent him to a Cardiac Veterinarian, who sent him to us for a special compounded medication. Like so many other dogs out there, Yoda didn't like taking his medication, even though it was a chicken flavored capsule hidden in a small amount of meat or cheese. So, what we made for him is a chewy, beefy flavored "medicine treat", that he comes running for and looks forward to taking twice a day. A Yoda Update-- Yoda is now 2 1/2 years old and full grown. His is doing very very well. He still enjoys his medicine treats which are now beef and chicken flavored! Yoda has been our patient since he was 4 months old. Perhaps we can be of help to you and your Veterinarian for your special pet!

Muffin - ICP's Newest Special Patient

MUFFIN is a mix of terrier, poodle, and pomeranien, born on June 1, 2007. Muffin was not expected to live. Like Yoda, she was born with a hole in her heart know as Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) and severe Hypertension. She's been our patient since she was 12 weeks old. We Miss You!. It is with sadness in our hearts that we bid farewell to Muffin. She died on March 25th, at the age of 1year and 10 months. Here's anoather example of what we might be able to do to help you and your Veterinarian with your special pet!
